The birth of Vicini Mario e Figli dates back to 1952, but our “Founder” Mario Vicini had already been building and selling his racing bicycles in his shop since 1942. Mario Vicini instilled in his bicycles his enormous baggage of experience gained on the roads of all Europe, competing in the most famous teams of the time, (Viscounty, Bianchi….) and even as an independent (i.e. without the support of a team) in the Tour de France 1937 coming second. Between the two stars of the time, Bartali and Coppi, he often found a way to slip into the dispute between the two as he was very strong uphill. The racing bicycle sector is currently constantly followed by Mario’s children and grandchildren Raffaele and Paola Vicini.
The presented bike is in perfect condition. Never used, like new. Very special livery with black “rough” paint which makes it unique.
It is set up with a Campagnolo Super Record groupset. Competition saddle. Stem and 3TTT handlebar. Nisi Solidal rims.
The bike is ready to be pedaled.
