Umberto Marnati, after World War II goes to work at Legnano. Right from the start he proves to be an excellent frame builder and form with Umberto Mascheroni an extremely close-knit couple following the historic olive green team. Umberto Marnati, after Legnano, worked for Bianchi and Salvarani, as well as being a mechanic of the national teams led by Alfredo Binda at the Tour and at the World Championships. The activity then continued with his son Daniele who will follow important teams such as Bianchi, Flandria, Scic, San Giacomo and Sammontana.
