Giovanni Pinarello was born in Catena di Villorba (Treviso) on 10 July 1922. In 1953, after leaving the races, he opened Cicli Pinarello. The small company started with a totally artisan production and in 1961 the first victory came in an important race: the Tour de l’Avenir. In 1975 Pinarello bikes won their first Giro d’Italia, and in the 80s the company grew and became more and more popular among fans. In 1980 Pinarello won the Tour de France with Pedro Delgado. Giovanni will gradually leave the company to his son Fausto. Fausto has great insights, sponsoring small teams that will soon become giants: Banesto, Telekom, Fassa Bartolo. Finally Sky, and with Chris Froome Pinarello will win its thirteenth Tour de France, thus becoming the most successful brand of the Grande Boucle.

The bike has been restored respecting the original colors and specifications.

It is set up with a Campagnolo Super Record group. 3TTT stem and handlebar. Saddle Competition. Mavic GP4 rims.

The bike has been completely serviced and is ready to ride.
