After his extraordinary career as a cyclist, Learco Guerra devoted himself to the activity of sporting director, supplying the teams he directed by bike that bore his name. Of course, Learco Guerra did not produce the bikes directly, but had them made by various manufacturers, including Faliero Masi. Learco Guerra bikes have always been characterized by great quality, even in city bikes, and Guerra himself supervised their quality. For racing bikes he chose the champagne color because, as he himself said, it was the color that reminded him of his victories.
This bike has been restored respecting its original colors and features. The frame is very well-finished and refined. It is equipped with very rare Learco Guerra FB hubs. Magistroni Humber crankset. Ambrosio handlebars. Track rims. Clement “Clementex” track tubulars. Ambrosio Champion stem. Brooks “narrow” track saddle.
Great champions like Hugo Koblet, Charly Gaul, Rik Van Loy, Federico Bahamontes and Aldo Moser raced with Learco Guerra bikes.
