Founded by the engineers Vittorio and Umberto Fabbri, the Taurus is completely built in Italy, in the Milanese factory located in the Vigorelli area.
The Taurus models are immediately distinguished by quality and elegance, distinguishing themselves thanks to highly connotative technical characteristics, such as rod brakes and curvilinear pedals characterized by the typical six blocks, considered a distinctive sign of the most luxurious and avant-garde models for the time. . The 40s and 50s decreed the definitive success of the Taurus, whose creations assert themselves for elegance, essentiality and resistance.
In 1945, the new store in Via Maiocchi was added to the first historic shop in Milan, located in Piazza della Repubblica. Taurus becomes synonymous with travel luxury.
In the mid-1950s, the Fabbri brothers sold the company and the brand to Mr. Fassi, who had been involved in the production of bicycles for decades. These are the years of the economic boom and Taurus expands its offer, also dedicating itself to the production of motorcycles and transferring production to the Vanzaghello plant.
Bicycle with elegant lines is set up with the Campagnlo Gran Sport group. Universl 61 brakes. Ambrosio Champion handlebar and stem. Magistroni crankset. Scheffield pedals. Brooks saddle. You look for Ambrosio.
The bike is ready to be pedaled.
