Description

This post is also available in: itItaliano

RIGI is the acronym of Giorgio Rinaldi, the engineer who designed it in the 1970s. The aim was to create a shorter bike, therefore more responsive and faster. To achieve these results Rinaldi designed a frame with the vertical tube replaced by two small tubes that allowed the rear wheel to be moved further forward than on normal bikes. The geometries of the frame are also characterized by more pronounced inclinations. The bike, due to its characteristics, is particularly suitable for climbing. The “Bici Corta” (Short bike) won the Compasso D’oro, an important national designer award, in 1979.

The bike presented is in excellent condition. It is equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record group. Universal brakes mod. 68. You look for Nisi. Royal Contour saddle. The bike has been completely overhauled and is ready to ride.
