Legnano is the brand that can boast more success in cycling races. In 1908 the management went to Emilio Bozzi who already owned the brands Frejus and Perla. In the 40s and 50s he is Bianchi’s strongest competitor, both commercially and agonistically. They have raced with Legano the greatest champions: Binda (three world championships), L. Guerra, G. Bartali. Fausto Coppi, Gastone Nencini at the beginning of his career. Ercole Baldini (World Championship and Record of the Hour).

The bike presented, fitted with a Simplex World Champion type gearbox, is a rare model, especially if complete with mudguards.

It is fitted with Legnano branded G.S hubs. Legnano crankset. Universal brakes pat. 361666 sport. ITM stem. Simplex Gearbox Type World Champion. The bike is set up with rims for tires, ideal for taking part in historical cycling races. It has been completely overhauled and is ready to ride.
