La Francaise is a very ancient society (1889), which contributed to the development of cycling in France and around the world, both for the variety of models and for the fame of the riders with whom he ran. La Francaise was the first bike to win the Tour de France in 1903 with Maurice Garin! Garin himself, still riding a La Francaise, won Paris-Brst-Paris in 1901. In 1890 Pierre-Victor Besse and Francoise Trépier create the Société La Francaise in Paris which produces velocipedes and spare parts. The Diamant brand will appear in 1895. La Francaise or Francaise Diamant are brands of the La Francaise Company. The first advertisements show La Francaise bikes, then bikes with the Francaise Diamant brand will appear. In 1923 the Alcyon Company will purchase the Francaise but continue to produce the brand. We will see the brand competing until 1955.

They run with La Francaise bike Maurice Garin and Emile Georgette ( winner of Paris-Brest-Paris).

Classic and elegant French bike with particularly inclined geometries, typical of those years, and long wheelbase. Good condition of the paint, amaranth with green flames. The bike is fitted with a Bowden front brake and post. Maryland. Ideal saddle. Diamant branded hubs and locks. The bike has been completely overhauled and is ready to be pedaled.
